Manuscript Types

 JESCS (Journal of Education, Social & Communication Studies) accepts original scholarly manuscripts that align with the journal's focus and scope in education, social sciences, and communication studies. Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and a meaningful contribution to the development of knowledge in the relevant fields.

JESCS welcomes the following types of manuscripts:

  1. Original Research Articles

These manuscripts report original empirical research using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches. They should present a clear research problem, relevant theoretical foundations, appropriate methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

  1. Review Articles

These manuscripts provide critical and systematic examinations of existing literature on relevant topics. They should synthesize previous findings, identify research gaps, discuss theoretical or methodological developments, and suggest directions for future research. Systematic literature reviews and other rigorous review approaches are welcome.

  1. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles

These manuscripts develop, evaluate, or refine theoretical frameworks, concepts, or models relevant to education, social sciences, and communication studies. They should provide a strong scholarly argument supported by relevant literature and demonstrate a clear contribution to academic discourse.

  1. Case Study Articles

These manuscripts examine specific cases, institutions, communities, educational practices, social phenomena, or communication processes in depth. They should provide a clear analytical framework, appropriate evidence, and meaningful implications for research or professional practice.

  1. Methodological Articles

These manuscripts introduce, develop, evaluate, or refine research methods, analytical techniques, or methodological approaches that offer meaningful contributions to scholarly inquiry in the journal's areas of interest.

All submitted manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Every submission is subject to an initial editorial assessment and, if deemed suitable, a peer-review process in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and publication ethics standards.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, ethical requirements, and formatting standards before submission.
