Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Journal of Education, Social & Communication Studies (JESCS) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published articles.

Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, author guidelines, and ethical standards.

Peer Review Stage
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
The review process is conducted using a double-blind system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

Originality and contribution to knowledge

Relevance to the journal’s scope

Methodological rigor

Clarity of presentation and academic writing

Compliance with ethical standards

Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief decides whether the manuscript is:

Accepted

Accepted with minor revisions

Accepted with major revisions

Rejected

Revision and Final Decision
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments. The revised manuscript may be re-evaluated before a final decision is made.

Time Frame
The average time for the peer review process is 4–6 weeks.
